Mohammed bin Nas-ser al Rasbi, secretary common in the Ministry of Defence, received in his workplace at Mu’askar al Murtafa’a on Tuesday Lt Gen Sir John Gordon Lorimer, UK’s Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East.
The two sides exchanged cordial conversations and discussed matters of frequent concern. The meeting was attended by the military attaché in the UK Embassy in Muscat.
Maj Gen Matter bin Salim al Balushi, commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) also received Lt Gen Sir Lorimer.
The meeting was attended by Brig Salim bin Khuwaiter al Muqbali, director common of Operations and Training at RAO Command, Brig Salim bin Saif al Hosani, commander of the 23rd Infantry Brigade, and the military attaché in the UK Embassy.
Commodore Said bin Abdullah al Sae’edi, acting commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) as well received Lt Gen Sir Lorimer.
The two sides exchanged cordial conversations and viewpoints on a number of matters of frequent concern specifically in relation to fields of the naval cooperation among the two friendly nations. The meeting was attended by senior RNO officers and the military attaché in the UK Embassy in Muscat.
