The delegation was received by Omar Muqaibal, director common of advertising and media at PEIE who briefed them about the history of PEIE, its vision, mission and objectives. The delegates have been introduced to different industrial estates that fall beneath the umbrella of PEIE all through the sultanate in addition to the Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) and Al Mazunah Free Zone.
PEIE officials elaborated on the vision of the establishment which is to improve the sultanate’s position as a top regional centre of manufacturing, ICT, innovation and entrepreneurship excellence, and its mission in attracting industrial investments and offering continued help, by means of regionally and globally competitive methods, great infrastructure, worth adding solutions and simple governmental processes.
The officials also highlighted the objectives of PEIE which consist of attracting foreign investments to the sultanate and localising the national capital and contributing to stimulating the private sector to accomplish sustainable financial and social improvement. PEIE also aims at strengthening relations with the concerned authorities to make sure the flow of investment method and overcome any obstacles faced by investors and reinforce cooperation with connected international and regional organisations to enhance the exchange of expertise.
The Polish delegation was also offered a short on KOM and the solutions and facilities provided to businesses operating in the ICT sector and educational institutions inside KOM.
