East meets West in a fabulous operatic concert as planet-well-known Peruvian tenor, Juan Diego Flórez will carry out with the brightly increasing star, Egyptian soprano, Fatma Said at the Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) on Thursday.
The brilliant mixture of Flórez and Fatma on stage singing solo as nicely as collectively tends to make for a gala occasion that is bound to thrill each regional and international patrons. Flórez produced his debut at the Metropolitan Opera in 2002, with return engagements at the Met that integrated Tonio in Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment, when, like Pavarotti prior to him, Flórez famously thrilled audiences by reaching nine successive higher C’s in the daunting aria, Ah! Mes Amis, stated a press release.
In 2013, Fatma won a scholarship to study at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala and has the distinction of performing at the illustrious Teatro alla Scala. Chosen as a single of BBC Radio three New Generation Artists in 2016, Fatma’s star continues to rise.
This will be Fatma’s third engagement at the Royal Opera House Muscat, right after her charming efficiency as Nanetta in Verdi’s Falstaff in 2015 and her effective efficiency in a gala opera recital in 2016.
The two singing stars are accompanied by the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra below the baton of the award-winning Spanish conductor, Guillermo García Calvo who has the fantastic distinction of conducting a lot more than 200 performances at the planet-well-known Vienna State Opera. The performances will be on Thursday at 7pm. For additional info and booking seek advice from www.rohmuscat.org.om
