Safehotels Alliance AB is an international certification organization and the originator of The Global Hotel Security Standard, established, maintained and created by a network of travel, tourism and hotel business specialists following years of analysis and improvement. The organization was founded in Sweden in 2001 to independently confirm, award, recognise and certify constant security and safety systems in spot at hotels and meeting venues.
The Global Hotel Security Standard is primarily based on 200+ individually assessed regular components. This in turn offers 3 levels of certification (Certificate, Premium and Executive), which are verified and renewed on an annual basis. Certified hotels demonstrate to corporate travel managers, wholesale purchasers and MICE planners that a hotel or hotel group has constant, objective and very best practice commitment to security and safety on a worldwide and brand specific or nearby level.
Nuno Neves, cluster common manager for Park Inn Muscat & Park Inn Duqm, mentioned, “We are proud to share this great achievement to all our guests and employees. Their safety and security is our top priority and will continue to make their stay and workplace to be safe at all times.”
Safehotels has evaluated the hotel’s current self-assessment internal hotel safety programme by monitoring, reviewing and reporting on the self-assessment hotel database and submittals. The hotels go via a quantity of criteria such as safety gear, employees awareness and instruction, and so on. “We make sure that all criteria are followed, updated and well maintained on a daily basis,” mentioned Irfan Ahmed, cluster chief engineer for Park Inn Muscat & Park Inn Duqm.
