Pakistan Social Club (PSC) Oman organised an occasion in honour of senior Pakistani neighborhood veteran, Chaudhary Muhammad Aslam, at Tulip Inn Downtown Muscat. Distinguished Pakistanis, Shahid Bashir, Mohammad Yaseen Bhatti, Mian Mohammad Riaz and nicely-identified Omani, Mohammad Pervaiz Abu Haroon, graced the occasion as guests of honour whilst chairman of PSC, Mian Muhammad Munir, and other directors of the club had been also present amongst the guests.
Hafiz Naeem Khalid started the proceedings with the recitation of handful of verses from the Q’uran. Ch Muhammad Afzal presented Hamd (poetry praising Allah Almighty) and Ghulam Murtaza Qadri recited Salaam (Urdu homage). The compere, director events of PSC and prominent poet, Qamar Riaz, extremely admired Aslam’s outstanding efforts as an ex-director of PSM’s BoDs and PSC’s BoDs, towards advertising education, literature and social function for his countrymen in North Batinah area and Muscat governorate.
Muhammad Imran Khizar study his poetry. Mohsin Sheikh highlighted Aslam’s sincere contribution spreading on previous 4 decades for the betterment of Pakistani neighborhood. “He is not only founder of Pakistan School Sohar but also he worked tirelessly for more than a quarter century to attain a wide piece of land for the school’s building, where hundreds of students are studying now,” stated Sheikh. Noted poet, Murawwat Ahmad, paid poetic tribute to the chief guest.
Ex-chairman of PSC, A H Raja stated that there is no doubt that Aslam is a praiseworthy particular person who supported his neighborhood for years and will be remembered usually with excellent words. After words of thanks, vice-chairman of PSC, Shabbir Ahmad Nadeem, stated that Aslam is an asset for the neighborhood Pakistani neighborhood.
On behalf of PSC, Munir along with the guests of honour presented a memento as a token of appreciation to Aslam in recognition of his meritorious solutions in the fields of education and social welfare in Oman. The chief guest thanked PSC officials, the host, Riaz and the organising team members.
