The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), represented by the Directorate General for Standards and Metrology, mentioned that much more than two,928kg gold has been hallmarked throughout the final quarter of 2017.
The directorate mentioned that the highest activity was recorded throughout December with 191,029kg, followed by November with 712,784kg, and October with 24,404kg.
The ministry mentioned that it is exerting excellent efforts in managing valuable metals and stones to limit illegal practices and shield each traders and customers against fraud by exporters or workshop workers.
