Over 27,000 register for hajj 48% in age group of 30-45

Registrations that lasted for two weeks has observed the highest quantity because the commence of the electronic program for registering pilgrims, with a total of 27,059. Out of them 25,659 are Omanis, 945 Arab residents and 455 non-Arab residents.

The sultanate has a quota of 14,000 for this year’s pilgrimage.

According to figures, some 19,716 Omanis intend to carry out hajj. Applicants in the age group of 30-45 years comprise 48 per cent, although these in the age group of 60 and above are the lowest with 10.four per cent.
