Over 19,500 citizens employed in private sector from December three till March 26

Of these six,420 have been employed in the building sector, two,631 in the manufacturing, 1,055 in skilled, scientific and technical activities, 943 in mining and quarrying, 534 in education, 369 in wellness and social solutions, 160 in agriculture and fishing, two,805 in wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor automobiles, 1,335 in transportation and storage and 336 in info and communications.

The quantity of males recruited throughout the period stood at 13,121, (67 per cent of the total appointments) whilst females at six,445. In terms of educational qualifications, six,755 have been common education diploma holders which incorporated three,793 males. The quantity of university diploma holders was three,327.

Those with education much less than common education diploma stood at 9,484 which incorporated 7,338 males. The ministry has confirmed that it is continuing with its endeavour to offer 25,000 jobs in the private sector in numerous governorates of the sultanate.
