The agreement signing ceremony witnessed the presence of H E Sheikh Muhanna bin Saif al Lamki, Governor of North Batinah, Eng Ibrahim bin Said bin Hamdan al Ghaithi, director of Agricultural Affairs Department in North and South Batinah, and Dr Hilal bin Abdullah al Hinai, basic manager of Corporate Support Services at Orpic.
The Directorate General of Agriculture and Livestock in Batinah and Orpic are searching for to create the nearby neighborhood by supporting households in numerous sustainable projects with great financial returns.
The initiative aims to boost the expertise and capacities of dairy-creating households and rural ladies. The initiative also aims to pick 15 ladies dairy producers from the wilayat of Saham. Supervisors will offer them awareness via instruction courses and field visits. The initiative will boost their expertise to begin little and medium-sized enterprises.
Dr Hinai, mentioned, “This initiative shows our true commitment to social responsibility based on our values. We seek to develop SME owners and encourage entrepreneurship.”
Eng Ghaithi added, “The initiative helps us reduce the spread of some diseases in the livestock sector. It will also enhance the skills of rural women in modern dairy production through training, mentoring and job creation through the development of productive families and helping them to produce, pack and label their products.”
