The business has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cisco, which will offer information centre technologies and allow Data Mount design and style, deploy and safe its subsequent-generation cloud solutions in a information centre in Oman’s well-known green mountains – Jebel Akhdar.

From there, we will offer customers the option to store their data securely in the cloud inside the country,” stated Abdull Hakeem al Muslahi, deputy chairman, Data Mount.

From this new data centre, we plan to offer cloud and disaster recovery services to government organisations and enterprises, with a strong focus on the banking industry.”
The new information centre in Jebel Akhdar, positioned in the Al Hajar mountain variety will supply a protected and safe place with moderate temperatures, so that Data Mount can save on energy consumption and safeguard its information centre gear from overheating.
