The Oman Vision 2040 Office organised a meeting at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) with the undersecretaries, CEOs and their equivalents on Wednesday.

Oman Vision 2040 Office meet discusses directives, objectives

The meeting sought to inform them of the perform and preparation of the Oman Vision 2040 and talk about the strategic directives and objectives.

Khalid bin Ali al Sunaidy, head of Oman Vision 2040 Office, gave a short presentation on the vision to recognize the directions of the vision, its stages and social participation via the stages of preparing the vision‫.‬

Specialised workshops have been held on the themes of the future vision: Man and Society, Economy and Development, and Governance and Institutional Performance.

These meetings come inside the framework of the series of meetings held by the Oman Vision 2040 Office with numerous stakeholders.

It seeks to involve all sectors and segments of society in shaping the vision of the future, as stipulated by the Royal Orders to strengthen the participatory strategy and activate the part of society in the formulation of the Oman Vision 2040.

This is in addition to the earlier stages of Oman Vision 2040 and numerous communication initiatives, which includes the initiative of All of Oman, in which more than three,000 persons participated from all governorates.
