The session was chaired from the sultanate’s side by H E Dr Fuad bin Ja’afar bin Mohammed al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and from the Qatari side by Mohammed bin Abdullah al Rumaihi, Minister of Municipality and Environment.
The session focused on different fields such as agriculture, livestock and fisheries. During the session, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was also signed among the nations pertaining to meals production and marketing and advertising, joint investment and export of Omani goods to Qatar.
H E Dr Sajwani mentioned that the MoU seeks to discover feasible possibilities for investment. Rumaihi mentioned that Qatar has investments in different fields in the sultanate and that Qatar aspires to invest in the Special Economic Zone in Duqm in places of meals business, strategic storage and investment in some fishing ports, as effectively as the improvement of infrastructure and urban projects inside the urban organizing of the coastal places, particularly fishing harbours due to their value to meals safety.

H E Hamad bin Said al Oufi, Undersecretary for Fisheries and directors common in MoAF.
