Madhu Jesrani, secretary, Oman Cricket, visited Salalah Youth Cricket Academy along with Anil Kumar, secretary, Oman Cricket Club Salalah, Johan Abraham Rajamoney, Dilip Chavda, Vijay Bhatt, members Oman Cricket Club Salalah to witness the cricket instruction facility in Salalah.
The academy is owned and managed by Ramakrishna Sheshadri and presently has 23 kids taking instruction in cricket in state-of-the-art practice nets with the newest bowling machine and cricket coach.
All the cricket playing teams participating in Oman Cricket Club Salalah tournament also use the facility for their practice. The academy is organising cricket camps for kids and adults. As element of the improvement of kids beneath 16 years, they visited Muscat and played a match with the beneath 16 team from Al Ahli Cricket Club and won the identical.
They are organizing a trip to Bahrain later this year to play a match with the Bahrain beneath 16 team.
Jesrani was presented with a memento by Kumar on behalf of the academy with Sheshadri. Children of the academy welcomed Jesrani with a bouquet. Jesrani appreciated the facility accessible in Salalah and has assured to supply help in terms of instruction the coaches and offering extra infrastructure if necessary in future on behalf of Oman Cricket.
