Oman Airports on Sunday inaugurated its new enterprise identity and a logo with 5 colours. The inauguration ceremony was held beneath the patronage of H E Yahya bin Said bin Abdullah al Jabri, chairman of the Special Economic Zone Authority at Duqm, and chairman of Oman Airports.
‘Green’ symbolises the new industrial identity of the tourism sector and ‘blue’ the civil aviation sector, which is a reference to the beauty of the sultanate. ‘Gold’ symbolises the logistics sector. The silver colour in the logo refers to the industrial sector which refers to the diverse investment possibilities supplied by the sultanate. ‘Red’ comes in the middle of the logo as a focal point of interest.
The audio identity of Oman Airports was also inaugurated. Inspired by an old Omani folk song that was sung at the opening of Oman’s initial airport, Bait al Falaj. Sheikh Ayman bin Ahmed al Hosni, CEO of Oman Airports, mentioned that the new identity of Oman Airports will give a new dimension and a large push to additional function at a really essential stage prior to beginning operations at the new Muscat International Airport. The airport is a fantastic landmark and a new addition to the achievements of the Blessed Renaissance era.
