Oman Air was topic to an IOSA Renewal Audit, carried out by Aviation Quality Services, an audit organisation, accredited by IATA. IOSA seeks to make sure that airlines are compliant with security needs and suggested practices determined by IATA the programme is an internationally recognised and accepted evaluation method created to assess the operational management and manage systems of an airline.
Oman Air met all the necessary requirements following the IOSA team examined the airline’s security procedures and processes in detail. The Oman Air Operations and Maintenance teams worked with each other in unison, guided by Quality Assurance Operations, and led by VPQAO, capt Salim Ali al Rashdi, to accomplish a effective IOSA Audit.

IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) is mandatory for all IATA member airlines, reviewing requirements in eight operational places, which includes operations management, flight operations, cabin operations, upkeep, and so on.
