OETC appreciates project contractor

The project requires the building of 3 new 400kV grid stations connecting with the Independent Power Plant three at Sohar with existing strength of above 800 workforces, involving numerous security dangers.

The reward ceremony was organised by OETC at the project web site with fantastic enthusiasm and participation from the whole project team chaired by OETC CEO Eng Ali al Hadabi along with other leading management team members. Appreciation certificates and rewards distributed to the workforce.

OETC continues its good HSE strategy by holding such certain events to sustain the higher levels of HSE requirements and enhance the culture across all the contractors and employees. Eng Hadabi stated, “Such a great HSE achievement confirms that we consistently manage our safety risks through comprehensive systems and targeting standards of excellence.”

Asif Ali, OETC HSE manager, congratulated the business and contractors consultants in their useful contribution for this milestone achievement. He stated, “Zero accident is one of our key strategic goals which can be achieved together as team work with all. No efforts shall be left unattended when it comes to maintaining injury-free work areas.”

OETC strives to enhance its HSE management by taking numerous initiatives and creating determined efforts to create a stronger security culture and therefore enhance HSE overall performance.
