The tournament closing ceremony, that was held below the patronage of H E Tahir bin Salim al Amri, CEO of Central Bank of Oman (CBO), marked CBO’s team clinching the general victory.
Congratulating the CBO team, Rashad al Musafir, acting CEO of Oman Arab Bank, mentioned, “We would like to warmly congratulate the CBO team for their grand victory following an outstanding performance over the course of the tournament. We would like to also express our deepest thanks to the OBA for hosting this exciting event, one that definitely helped boost relations between banking sector employees. As such, we are extremely pleased to have sponsored this exceptional sporting event and look forward to continuing this fruitful collaboration with OBA in future events.”
The tournament started on March 19 and saw the participation of 12 nearby banks. With a final outcome of two-1, the CBO team clinched the general tournament victory following placing on a fantastic overall performance against the Bank Sohar team. Closing the unforgettable occasion on March 24, H E Amri presented the winning team with the tournament trophy.
