The students are from different nations which includes the US, the UK, Belarus, Russia, Czech Republic, France, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Sweden, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Indonesia and Germany.

The orientation day incorporated an introductory session to familiarise the students and academic and administrative cadres with a cultural programme. A tour was organised for the students to familiarise with the college’s facilities and solutions supplied.

The students also viewed a documentary on the sultanate and its potentials that make it a preferred location for numerous foreign students to find out the Arabic language.

During the eight-week course, the students will be engaged in an integrated cultural programme that consists of going to significant archeological, historic and civilised landmarks in the sultanate, attending lectures on culture and the Arabic calligraphy.
