Mwasalat opened an RO1mn integrated bus service and upkeep station in Azaiba on Sunday. The opening ceremony of the station, was held beneath the patronage of H E Eng Salim bin Mohammed al Nuaimi, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
H E Nuaimi toured the instruction centre managed by the Omani employees, the upkeep workshop which is supplied with modern day gear and tools and the bus inspection method. H E Nuaimi stated, that the organization is witnessing continuous development and that it is progressing with steady strides as per the pre-set plans.
He added that two new routes will be opened in Governorate of Dhofar and the wilayat of Sohar as component of Mwasalat’s method and in coordination with the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Bus stops will be identified on Batinah Expressway and at every interchange to facilitate the service for these coming towards Muscat.
Ahmed bin Ali al Balushi, CEO, Mwasalat stated that the organization does not get subsidy from the government on fuel and that it operates like equivalent firms in the field.
The station consists of a workshop for distinct sorts of buses, parking lots for 145 buses and an automatic vehicle washing station that recycles water. It also has a fuel station, offices for employees, a bus manage and tracking centre.
