Municipality to crack down on illegal parking by installing automatic gates at Sahwa Park

The Directorate General of Muscat Municipality in Seeb has decided to tow autos that exceed the prescribed parking hours in Sahwa Park. It will also set up automatic gates to stop folks from leaving their autos for days at parking slots designated for guests to the park, the municipality has tweeted.

The municipality lately stuck warning stickers on autos that had been parked for a lengthy time. The automatic gates will open only in the course of going to hours to the park. Vehicles parked for lengthy hours accumulate dust and grow to be an eyesore to landscape of the location.

These also use up a huge space in the park leaving small space for guests to the park. Some of these autos frequently grow to be residence to rodents and insects. The park is open each and every day from 4pm to 12pm, and on Fridays, Saturdays and official holidays from 9am to 12am.
