As per the agreement the university will facilitate admission procedures for Omani students to join its language centres and programmes, offer academic and logistical solutions to students, and make certain the implementation of early intervention methods to address academic or other troubles in consultation with the sultanate’s consulate.
It will also assign employees to supervise the students and stick to up their attendance and academic progress in numerous programmes, and assist the students to finish the courses according to the time plans set for them.
MoHE has received free of charge scholarships for English language programmes and bachelor’s programmes. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Omani side by H E Dr Hamoud bin Amer al Wardi, Consul General of Oman, and Professor Jack Garman, dean of International Business Operations at the Edith Cowan University.
