MoHE inks pact with Australian varsity

As per the agreement the university will facilitate admission procedures for Omani students to join its language centres and programmes, offer academic and logistical solutions to students, and make certain the implementation of early intervention methods to address academic or other troubles in consultation with the sultanate’s consulate.

It will also assign employees to supervise the students and stick to up their attendance and academic progress in numerous programmes, and assist the students to finish the courses according to the time plans set for them.

MoHE has received free of charge scholarships for English language programmes and bachelor’s programmes. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Omani side by H E Dr Hamoud bin Amer al Wardi, Consul General of Oman, and Professor Jack Garman, dean of International Business Operations at the Edith Cowan University.

Australia has much more than 40 universities and Edith Cowan University is ranked 18th amongst the country’s best universities. It has also been ranked amongst the very best in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings.

The university is 1 of the very best varsities for engineering majors in Western Australia.
