MoH was represented by the Department of Hospital Affairs and Specialised Medical Centres at the Directorate General of Specialised Medical Care.
The occasion was held in the presence of Dr Kadhim Jaffar, director basic of Specialised Medical Care, stated a press release.
The workshop was performed in collaboration with the Hand Surgery Department and Reconstructive Surgery Department at Khoula hospital, the Omani Society for Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery, and the Omani Society for Surgery of the Hand. Around 90 emergency, surgery and basic physicians, and physiotherapists from Khoula, The Royal and other hospitals in distinct governorates took component.
The workshop aimed at enhancing hand injuries remedy solutions in all hospitals and instruction participants on the examination of injured hands, distinct varieties of hand injuries in addition to identifying instances that need transfer to the tertiary healthcare care hospitals.
