Mars Hypermarket in Al Khoudh launched a dedicated section for 100 per cent natural and organic fruits and vegetables produced in Oman in association with Pairidaeza Organic Farm, the first of its kind in the sultanate.

The launch witnessed the presence of Narjes Mohamed Mirza, owner and founder, Pairidaeza Organic Farm, Dr V T Vinod, managing director of Mars International, Naveej Vinod, executive director, Saif al Malki, GM Administration, Unnikrishna Pillai, GM, management and employees of Mars, members of the media fraternity and a massive crowd of clients. A variety of vegetables are showcased in the section which includes tomato, cucumber, capsicum, eggplant, cabbage, lettuce and turnip. Mars will market the organic create via their vast network of retailers across the sultanate.

“We are happy to promote the local organic options and provide awareness to more customers. We are delighted to be a part of this initiative to provide the customers the best and healthy products,” stated Dr V T Vinod.

“We are selling the fruits and vegetables that are grown locally and certified by US dept of Agriculture and Onecert. We are planning to launch this section across all outlets very soon,” stated Naveej Vinod.
