Alumni and faculty of Oman Dental College (ODC), with other honoured guests, recently gathered at an event hosted by King’s College London Dental Institute in the Sindbad Ballroom, Crowne Plaza Muscat.

King’s College London Dental Institute hosts occasion for alumni of ODC

Alumni and faculty of Oman Dental College (ODC), with other honoured guests, lately gathered at an occasion hosted by King’s College London Dental Institute in the Sindbad Ballroom, Crowne Plaza Muscat.

Professor Jenny Gallagher MBE, who has been a going to professor at ODC for six years, gave a presentation on possibilities for postgraduate dental research at King’s, which includes distance understanding, specialty coaching and PhD courses. After the inspiring presentation, the guests have been capable to appreciate a reception and to network with their buddies and colleagues.

Professor Jenny stated, “It is an honour to visit Oman and I love teaching here. It’s a privilege to inform your emerging dental workforce of learning opportunities in London but also describe how they can upskill via our post graduate programmes including distance learning courses.”

One of ODC’s faculty members Dr Thillai Viswapurna who has lately completed an MSc distance understanding programme at King’s stated, “The most exciting part of doing a distance learning programme whilst working was the instant transfer and use of knowledge into my work environment and also the comfort of receiving world-class international education at your door step.”

ODC alumni Dr Amur al Senaidi stated, “I’m always thinking about developing my career and becoming a better dentist. So, prof Jenny’s talk was very useful.” Dr Rahul Arora, dean of ODC, stated, “We are proud of our graduates and want them to continue to succeed in the world after ODC.”
