Indian Social Club (ISC) Salalah concluded the Annual Underarm Cricket Tournament.

Karnataka Wing bags 2018 edition of ISC, Salalah Annual Inter-Wing Underarm Cricket trophy

The mega sports occasion was the culmination of a 20-day lengthy tournament played in between 16 Teams. ISC Salalah chairman, Manpreet Singh welcomed the audience. “ISC has conducted underarm cricket tournaments for many years now and we are really happy that this time, we had a record-breaking 16 teams taking part,” mentioned chairman Singh in his welcome address.

Sports secretaries Ajith and Binoy P helmed the tournament and thumbed the guidelines for the players and umpires. The final match was played Karnataka Wing A vs Marathi Wing, with the Karnataka Wing winning by eight runs right after a nail-biting match. The Champions of the 2018 Underarm Cricket Tournament, the Karnataka Wing A, was honoured by chairman Singh and the runner-up, Marathi Wing was felicitated by the sports secretary, Ajith. General secretary Hridhya S Menon hosted the ceremony and honoured Lalit, the Man of the Match. Vice chairman, Mohandas and all the Management Committee members gave away the prizes for the remaining titles. Cultural secretary Ramesh Kumar proposed the Vote of Thanks and drew curtains on the ceremony.
