ISWKi organises cultural and sports festival Jamboree

Participants teamed in from ten Indian and International schools from across the city, represented by about 700 students.

These inventive and talented learners participated in numerous scholastic and non-scholastic events (literary, visual arts, performing arts and sports). The venue was brimming with competitive spirit and outstanding self-assurance.

The occasion started with inauguration ceremony in which Harshendu Shah, president of ISWKi Management Committee, proposed the welcome address.

Further, in his address, he welcomed the guests, the judges and students from participating schools who had assembled to celebrate the expertise and talent of our young ones.

The college also participated enthusiastically in all the events and won laurels.
The competitors was an apt chance for participants from various schools to interact with fellow students and expand their social net.

It supplied them an exposure of a higher level in building their proficiency in numerous scholastic and co-scholastic activities. An esteemed panel of judges incorporated specialists from the respective fields, who judged the participants on the basis of originality, aesthetics, creativity and all round presentation in numerous events.

The valedictory function was performed the subsequent day when the chief guest for the occasion, Wilson George, chairman, Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman, gave away prizes to the winners and eloquently addressed the gathering with his views on futuristic vision.

He also conveyed the necessity of defining one’s aim in life, however seeking forward to the students’ hopeful and vibrant future. The day ended in a gorgeous
resonance with the vote of thanks.

The complete occasion was applauded by everyone present though it was the very first try to get collectively students from various schools and it will
stay etched in the memory of a single and all in instances to come.

In addition, contemplating the fantastic enthusiasm of the participating schools and students, ISWKi would continue to organise this annual celebration of young minds and souls each year.
