ISG students attend Round Square conference at Bangalore International School

Muscat – 

A team of 11 delegates comprising Gowri Hari, Habiba Abid Ghariyali, Anum Khan, Mahalakshmi Nair, Mahalakshmi Ramalingam, Snigdha Ghosh Dastidar, Sarvesh R, Rishab Thankan, Shivam Saraf, Ankit Thomas and Dan Eapen Varghese accompanied by the Round Square representative Noella Vaz attended the Round Square Regional Conference held at Bangalore International School.

The theme of the conference was ‘Transcending Borders, Extending our Worlds’. The keynote speakers integrated Martin Rohlmann, cultural officer, Consulate General of Germany, Francois Gautier, Consul General of France, Ajay Batra, head, Centre for Entrepreneurship, Bennett University, and Raghava K K, artist and entrepreneur.

The conference had a lot more than 100 participants from schools all more than India and the Middle East. The team creating activities gave the students an chance to interact with other people from varied backgrounds and cultures. The Curiosity Show primarily based on science experiments presented by students of the host college was significantly appreciated by all the delegates.

They also visited the heritage website at Nandeeshwara exactly where they had their Barraza session and unitedly came up with the conference statement ‘We as global citizens must take collaborative, ethical decisions to diversify our cultural identity and expand the circle of human concern, thus transcending borders to attain a favourable balance.’

The students completely enjoyed the dances and music that have been a component of the cultural occasion. They expressed their gratitude to the college authorities and their parents for offering them with such a fantastic chance to widen their understanding of the planet.
