Dr Tahseen Arshi, director of Studies in the Faculty of Business Management, Majan University College Muscat, was the chief guest.
Harshendu Shah, president of the SMC of ISWK i, Rajendra Ved, executive director of ISWK and ISWK i Management, along with the other esteemed members, particular invitees and parents of the graduating students had been present on the occasion.
The chief guest was welcomed by the deputy head boy and deputy head girl supplying him a bouquet of flowers. The solemn programme started with a prayer song, invoking the blessings of the Almighty.
The chief guest in his address to the students encouraged them to preserve alive a spirit of adventure and not worry modify. He urged them to be nicely informed and inventive in their strategy to research and education.
Dr Avirat Vaishnav, a member to the SMC, advised students to be independent and free of charge and by no means overlook the genuine heroes, their parents, who have stood by them all the way. There will be challenges, he reminded them, and they will have to go out and meet them boldly. Shah inspired the students to aim higher and excel in their educational pursuit.
D N Rao, principal, in his speech reminded the students to stay focused and place in their greatest in order to accomplish good results in the board examinations.
In her valedictory address, Raksha Patil, head girl, reminisced her days at the college from kindergarten and thanked all the teachers for bringing out the greatest in her.
Head boy Aayush Abraham reverently addressed the teachers who mentored him from the time he stepped into his very first grade in this college.
He thanked them for imparting holistic information to him and creating his schooling years so memorable.
The chief guest gave away awards and mementos to the outgoing students. Special awards had been also offered away to 4 students of exceptional calibre.
Aarati Santhosh Nair of the Science stream and Hanish Edayath of the Commerce stream had been declared ‘Ideal ISWK Students’. Vaidehee Thakur of the Science stream and Praneel Meethal of Commerce stream won the ‘The Achiever of the Year’ awards.
The audience was regaled by a fusion dance presented by the students. The Western Music choir sang a sentimental song, as they bid adieu to their graduating seniors. The function came to a close with students as nicely as their parents and guests interacting more than dinner.
