Indian School Ghubra shines at IKFFI

The International Kids Film Festival of India (IKFFI) is a window to the globe of cinema for youngsters in India, curated by LXL Ideas. It promotes the art of cinema via film screenings in schools and a filmmaking competitors titled ‘Make Cinema’. As component of the initial edition of IKFFI 2017, a lot more than 100 films from more than 25 nations have been screened in six days, which was reside streamed in ISG.

This inspired the students to showcase their creativity via the medium of cinema. A huge quantity of students enthusiastically took up the challenge of producing a film. The prize-winning film ‘Happy New Year’ highlighted the part played by the elderly in inculcating the correct values in youngsters.

The award will be presented to Waseem Niyas by Syed Sultan Ahmed, festival director, IKFFI later this month. The students have been really grateful to principal Papri Ghosh, teacher in charge, Shubha Jose, and their parents for all the guidance and assistance.
