Muscat –

Indian School Ghubra (ISG) celebrated the 72nd Independence Day of India in the college auditorium, with fantastic excitement, joy and fervour. Dr C M Najeeb, member, School Management Committee, was the chief guest for the occasion.

He was welcomed ceremoniously by the convenor and the students. The celebrations started with the singing of the National Anthem of India.

Reflecting on the sacrifices of the fantastic leaders and the unsung heroes, infused pride, honour and patriotism in everybody.

The college choir enthralled the audience with the soulful rendition of the patriotic songs, ‘Sab Se Unchi, Vijay Pataka’ and ‘Hum Sab Bhartiya Hai’, glorifying the flag and the unity of the nation. This was followed by ‘Nritya Tarangini’ – a semi-classical dance, which extolled the beauty of India. The vibrant music and the colourful dance have been mesmerising.
