n a statement the Indian Social Club (ISC) mentioned that members of the Indian neighborhood who want to participate, could register by means of the embassy website (www.indemb-oman.org) by clicking on the register button on the particular pop-up.

Seats will be allotted on initial come, initial served basis, topic to availability and safety checks.

ISC mentioned that registrations will be closed, without having prior notice, as soon as the preferred quantity of participants have registered and no additional requests will be accommodated. “Indian community members willing to attend the event will have to arrange transport on their own and reach the venue in Muscat by 2pm. Except wallet and mobile phones no other items will be allowed to be taken inside the venue,” it mentioned.

ISC mentioned there is no protected depository at the venue. “Snacks, juice/water will be offered at the venue. Invitations which will be issued to registered participants are non-transferable and need to be carried along with Omani civil ID card.

“No other identity document will be accepted for confirming the identity of the participant. Date and venue for collecting the invitations will be intimated to the accepted applicants by SMS, social media channels or by mobile phone.”

People who have registered with the club or its wings/branches or by means of any other official channels require not re-register on-line as informed by C M Sardar, vice chairman, ISC.
