Himachal Wing marks Himachal Day, Vaisakhi festival with enthusiasm

Himachal Pradesh came into existence as a chief commissioner’s province by the integration of several princely states on April 15, 1948. Hence, this day is celebrated as ‘Himachal Day’. Himachal Pradesh has produced its location amongst the very best states in India via the progressive and difficult-operating nature of its individuals. Vaisakhi is an essential festival in the northern places of India like Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. The celebrations have been attended by about 150 members of the Himachali neighborhood in Oman.

The gathering was welcomed by Himachal Wing convenor and co-convenor. The programme was anchored by the entertainment secretary of the wing. New members of Himachal Wing have been introduced to the gathering. Relatives of wing members who are going to Oman presently have been honoured with mementos as per tradition and practice of the wing. Himachal Wing members participated in different cultural activities and games. The participants enjoyed the fantastic evening which came to an finish with standard Himachali folk songs and dances.
