H E Sa’eedi chairs wellness sciences college, healthcare specialties institute’s board meet

H E Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Obaid al Sa’eedi, Minister of Health, chaired the meeting in the presence of board members, the undersecretary for Planning Affairs in the Ministry of Health, and vice chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University, stated a press release.

Also present had been the secretary common of the Education Council, CEO of the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority, dean of Oman Medical College, and acting director common of Human Resources Development in the Ministry of Health.

The meeting was convened following the issuance of the Royal Decree 18/2018 establishing the Oman College of Health Sciences and Higher Institute for Medical Specialties.

The board highlighted in the course of the discussions the adoption of the organisational structure for each the college and the institute, as effectively as the terms of employment and choice of the deans and assistants deans.
