H E Gen Nu’amani visits command of forces taking component in workouts

Muscat – 

H E Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Nu’amani, Minister of Royal Office, visited the Land Troops Command participating in Al Shomoukh two and Swift Sword three military workouts.

Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (Commander of the Joint Forces) and commander of the land troops participating in the workouts, received H E Gen Nu’amani.

H E Gen Nu’amani witnessed the military capabilities and the field deployment mechanism. He also listened to a complete summary of the military plans, the tasks and duties carried out inside the ground operations theatre as effectively as the plans and preparations for the subsequent stages of the physical exercise.

H E Gen Nu’amani also inspected contemporary military gear employed by the Royal Army of Oman throughout the physical exercise. The gear bears witness to the improvement and modernisation in the Sultan’s Armed Forces beneath the glorious reign of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
