The initial of the matches took off at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher in Muscat exactly where 4 schools from the governorate are participating. Z-Corp has been backing the tournament for the final handful of years with an intention to instil passion for sports amongst kids.

The championship matches will be held in schools in Muscat, North Batinah, South Batinah, Dakhliyah, Dhofar and Buraimi governorates.
The Mitsubishi Oman Handball School Championship is becoming organised by Mitsubishi Oman, represented by General Automotive Company, in association with the Oman Handball Association (OHA). General Automotive Company, which is the official distributor for Mitsubishi automobiles in Oman, is a subsidiary of the Zubair Automotive Group, the flagship enterprise of the Z-Corp. While Al Amal School won the initial spot, the second spot was won by Ghala School. The third spot was won by Al Basair and the forth spot went to Al Baraim.

In the context of augmenting public and private sector partnership, Z-Corp has been backing all the activities of Oman Handball Association given that it signed an agreement in October 2015.
