Four Omanis to ride 100km on camels across desert to market tourism

Alam al Hijen (The planet of camels) magazine in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism will launch the convoy on November 28. Called Hadaa al Sahra, the convoy will consist of 4 Omanis, who will be meeting nationals as nicely as foreign vacationers along with their journey via the desert. The trip will finish on December 1.

Ahmed bin Nasser al Junaibi, supervisor of the convoy, stated that it is his third trip of such a type. The initial was in 2016 and the second in 2017.

“Many lovers of camel riding, travelling in deserts and camping will join with us in the convoy. Four Omanis who will ride the camels are Mohammed al Zadjali, Amer al Wahibi, Ahmed al Mahrouqi and Hamood al Nahdi,” he stated.

The trip’s programme aims to preserve the cleanliness of the desert and provide some camel riding expertise and mechanism of travel extended distances in deserts in a quick period of time.
