Experts conduct antenatal classes for expectant mothers at KIMS Oman Hospital

To facilitate this extremely journey of expectant mothers, KIMS Oman Hospital’s (KOH) Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has launched a series of Antenatal Classes.

The initial of the series of antenatal classes was held at the hospital final week and was attended by 30 participants.

The session was divided into 4 segments and lectures and presentation have been delivered by the hospital’s very skilled team of skilled physicians, nurses and paramedic employees.

Head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, Dr Girija, explained pregnancy care via new technologies. She also stressed on the value of getting active via typical workout routines in the course of the pregnancy period.

Senior gynaecologist Dr Shalaka focused on painless delivery and recommended how epidural anaesthesia provides relief from unbearable discomfort in the course of deliveries.

Dr. Shashiraj Eswarappa, consultant, Internal Medicine and Medical Superintendent at KOH, mentioned, “We are extremely delighted to start the antenatal classes for expectant mothers. Through this initiative, we hope to educate, inform and facilitate the journey of motherhood and create aware individuals.”
