Ernst &amp Young Oman lifts Auditors Cricket Cup for fourth time in row

It was a really effectively contested and fought tournament among seven Audit firms: EY, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, HC Shah, Ibn Hyan and Crowe Horwath. Every person demonstrated correct spirit of teaming and sportsmanship all through the tournament.

The initial semifinal was played among HC Shah and KPMG. KPMG won the match by four wickets. Kaustubh was awarded the man of the match. The second semifinal was played among EY and KPMG. EY won the toss and chose to field. EY bowlers restricted PwC to 61 runs in six overs.

In reply, EY accomplished their target comfortably with nine balls to spare. The highlight of the match was six sixes in six balls by Omar Sarfraz of EY, who was declared Man of the Match and Man of the Tournament.

The final was played among EY and KPMG. KPMG won the toss and elected to bowl initial and restricted EY to a modest total of 48 runs in six overs. In reply, EY’s bowlers held their nerves and bowled tight line which helped them to bowl out KPMG in five.five overs to lift the Auditors Cricket Cup 2018 title. Pankaj Gupta from EY was declared Man of the Match in finals.

In the womens cricket match, HC Shah was declared the winners of ladies match played among HC Shah and Crowe. HC Shah won the game by six runs.

The awards had been as follows: Champions – E &amp Y Runners-up: KPMG winners (ladies) – H C Shah Best Batsman – Akhil (H C Shah) Best Bowler – Noman (KPMG) Best Wicket keeper – Usman (KPMG) Best Dressed Team – PwC and Man of the Tournament – Omar (E &amp Y).
