The signing ceremony was also attended by Hoehler + alSalmy (H+S), the style consultant for the project as effectively as board directors of Gulf Hotels. The building perform is scheduled to begin on May 15 and anticipated to be completed by August 31, stated K V Vijay Raghavan, director, Gulf Hotels.
“We planned the renovation to coincide with Ramadan and the summers, which is a low tourist season. We have been renovating the hotel from time to time, but this is the biggest one. So it was decided to close down the operation for three months,” stated Raghavan.
The scope of building contract contains rebuilding of pool location, which includes a new state-of-the-art two level infinity pool, the porte cochére, lobby, entrance and reception location amongst other individuals. “This would be supplemented by a new contemporary designed facade of the building, to go with the refreshing new look of the entire hotel,” stated the business.
“The plan is to completely change the lobby area, and extend the terrace, adding one more level to it, two to three steps below the current one,” stated Raghavan. This is due to the demand from guests at the 3 restaurants who want to sit out and take pleasure in the beach-front view, added Raghavan. The principal all-day dining restaurant will also be redesigned and extended.
“We are excited for the renovation work and look forward to welcoming our guests to our new facilities in September,” stated Herve Corvest, location common manager, Crowne Plaza Muscat.
