Council of Ministers, Council of Oman hold joint meeting

The meeting highlighted the value of dialogue and the require to agree to views that assist implement improvement plans and programmes.

The meeting started upon the arrival of Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers.

Sayyid Fahd stated that the government accords priority to the views and proposals of members of the Council of Oman for additional improvement of sectors and facilities across all governorates.

Sayyid Fahd explained that the Council of Ministers constantly research problems raised by the Council of Oman and monitors implementation of projects at each and every stage.

Sayyid Fahd stated that the directives of His Majesty the Sultan concentrate on caring for citizens to make certain that they get the very best solutions so that each and every Omani remains proud of the progress of his homeland and participates in the nation-developing procedure.

Members of the State Council and Majlis A’Shura held meetings with members of the Council of Ministers and exchanged views on problems pertaining to the implementation of plans and programmes of their respective ministries in all wilayats and towns of the sultanate.

The chairmen of the State Council and Majlis A’Shura and other members of the Council of Oman commended the optimistic effect of the meetings amongst the state’s institutions, serving the supreme interests of the nation. Sayyid Fahd stated that the meeting will enable respective committees formed amongst the Council of Ministers and other state institutions to take forward the problems raised in the course of the joint meeting and implement these amongst the priority list.

At the conclusion of the meeting, all expressed their thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to the Almighty Allah to safeguard him and grant him continuous great well being and happiness. They wished Oman additional progress and prosperity.

A luncheon was held right after the meeting and it was attended by members of the Council of Ministers and the Council of Oman.
