CEPS alumni association board meets

The mission of the CEPS Alumni Association Board is to advise and create a powerful tie and ongoing partnership among CEPS alumni, faculty, students and society in order to strengthen the strategic position of the College. The Alumni Association Board is structured to help the students and the college on their journey towards productive academic and skilled lives and supply recommendations for maintaining the degree applications and curriculum present. The members represent a cross-section of CEPS alumni because its foundation in 1994.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Khamis Hamed Al-Yahyaee, the Dean of the College stated that the leadership expertise and the active participation of Alumni Association Board are important towards CEPS excellence. He referred to as upon the members of the board and the alumni association to assist students and the College to improve the academic studying procedure with future skilled profession and share their experiences throughout the meetings. The Dean stated that the College seeks to preserve the top quality of its academic applications primarily based on international requirements and referred to as for their assistance in reviewing the academic applications and curriculum. “The College also expects the support of the alumni members in making and maintaining corporate connections both regional and internationally that lead to increased internships, consultancies and external activities beneficial to the College, its students and faculty”, he stated.

Dr. Sami Al Kharusi, Assistant Dean for Training and Community Services, stated that the College seeks the help of the Alumni Board in the efforts of the College in advancing ethical, accountable and sustainable enterprise practices in Oman and the wider GCC area by means of curricular and extracurricular activities. “The Alumni Association board consists of members from different majors at CEPS with B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree and diverse industry background. The members are elected for three-year term starting by January 1 of the first year and ending by December 31 of the third year term”, the Assistant Dean stated. The Board will hold 4 meetings throughout the academic year, twice a semester, with the subsequent meeting scheduled in May.
