The convention titled, ‘Multiple Literacies for a World of Tomorrow’ provides an chance to Beaconhouse students from about the planet to come with each other and give it their all to compete for glory and recognition.
BISC 2018 will start with a grand opening ceremony followed by sports, art, science and cultural activities in which more than 200 Beaconities from Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Oman and Pakistan will participate and compete. This is a fantastic occasion for them to be a element of the worldwide stage and really shine as youngsters of tomorrow.
They will participate in futsal, basketball, table tennis, swimming and athletics competitions along with BISC Talks (panel discussion), BISC Idol (singing challenge), BISC Film Festival (film producing competitors), BISQUIZ show, BISCLICK (photography competitors), BISC Exploratorium (science competitors), BISC Biennale (art installations) and BISC Cultural Show.
Speaking on the occasion, Zeba Masood, principal of Beaconhouse School Muscat thanked Oman’s Ministry of Education for its continuous assistance.
She stated that the convention will be attended by Nasreen Kasuri, chairperson of Beaconhouse Group and Kasim Kasuri, chief executive of Beaconhouse Group. Beaconhouse School System strongly believes in teaching their youngsters to take up each and every challenge with power and develop.
This will be the third edition of BISC with two earlier editions getting held in Bangkok (2016) and Kuala Lumpur (2017).
