The occasion was held below the patronage of H E Dr Ali bin Masoud bin Ali al Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry, and aimed at highlighting Oman as an appealing investment location for the Indian organizations and investment firms.
The occasion was attended by H E Tahir bin Salim bin Abdullah al Amri, executive president of the Central Bank of Oman, and senior officials from a quantity of Omani businesses and banks.
H E Indra Mani Pandey, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, was also present and a quantity of officials from India.
Abdul Hakeem Omar al Ojaili, CEO of BankDhofar, highlighted investment possibilities in Oman, and gives offered by banking market to Investors aiming to set up big projects in Oman.
Commenting on the significance of sponsoring such events, Ojaili, CEO of BankDhofar mentioned, “Such events carry great importance to the economy. Oman has the capabilities to attract foreign investment, with political stability, strategic location, developed infrastructure, free economic zones, among other factors. BankDhofar contributes in the growth of the national economy, we work on providing facilities that attract foreign investors.”
The occasion was organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Muscat Chapter in coordination with the College of Banking and Financial Studies.
