Under the theme of ‘Civil Defence and National Institutions against Disasters’, a celebratory occasion was held at Sur College of Applied Sciences below the auspices of H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Mustahil bin Salem Shamas, Governor of South Sharqiyah.
During the occasion, a brief video was played about the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances, followed by a quantity of informative and educational activities that complemented the accompanying security exhibition. Before the closing, H E Sheikh Abdullah presented Bank Sohar with a token of appreciation in recognition of their help for the occasion which was received by Bank Sohar’s Sur branch representative.
Reiterating the bank’s commitment towards neighborhood and social causes, Sasi Kumar, acting CEO, mentioned, “We are always keen to support causes that seek to uplift and safeguard the community. The security exhibition aspect of the occasion continued till March 7, supplying the public with different activities on common security, displays of security gear, on-website instruction and demonstrations of how to administer initial-help and protocols on domestic fire security.
