Bank Muscat presents Braille laptops to vision impaired at SQU

Bank Muscat, the flagship economic solutions provider in the sultanate, as element of its commitment to sustainable social improvement, presented Braille Sense two laptops to ten visually challenged students at Sultan Qaboos University in the presence of H E Dr Ali bin Soud al Bimani, vice chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University, throughout the unique requirements students loved ones gathering ceremony.

The bank’s corporate social duty (CSR) initiative is aimed at supporting the vision-impaired youth to boost abilities and integrate with mainstream society. Raya bint Habib al Shukaili, senior regional manager – South and Central Muscat branches, presented the customised laptops to the vision-impaired youth at the ceremony attended by senior bank and university officials.

Raya mentioned, “Bank Muscat is delighted to extend a assisting hand to the visually challenged youth to create abilities and boost their educational status. The unique laptops will assist the vision-impaired students boost abilities and acquire independence. We are optimistic that this will encourage them to positively participate in the service of society and improvement of the nation.

“Bank Muscat is committed to contributing towards sustainable development by working closely with local communities, especially the country’s youth who represent the future of Oman, with the aim of improving and enhancing skills in a manner that contributes to national development.”
