Al Bustan Palace hotel to reopen after refurbishment

Al Bustan Palace hotel to reopen right after refurbishment

An iconic symbol of Omani culture and hospitality, the hotel has been reimagined to embrace the requirements of households and the contemporary international traveller, providing new and inspiring experiences that bridge heritage with state of the art technologies and contemporary design and style, stated a press release.

“Oman continues to welcome record numbers of international visitors thanks to our commitment to offering world-class experiences for the modern global traveller that honour and celebrate our beautiful natural surroundings, rich culture and history,” commented H E Maitha bint Saif al Mahrouqi, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Tourism.

“The renovation of Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel fully supports this vision and we are confident that the hotel will continue to contribute to the sultanate’s thriving tourism industry.”

Royal Estates, Royal Court Affairs carried out the design and style of most of the refurbishment functions, whilst renowned luxury integrated design and style firm WATG and affiliated design and style studio Wimberly Interiors offered some of the other architecture and interior renovation below the supervision of the Royal Estates. Undergoing a dramatic transformation, the hotel rooms and suites seamlessly combine decor inspired by Oman’s culture and heritage with refined design and style and state-of-the-art technologies.

While the rooms retain their original elegance, an enhanced level of contemporary luxury is now offered by wealthy furnishings, lush components and neutral metallic tones. New artwork pays homage to Oman’s artisans with modern digital prints incorporating photos of standard Omani silverware, jewellery, khanjars, and coffee pots.

“Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel has been an iconic property in Oman for more than 30 years and we are delighted to introduce the newly reimaged hotel to the local and global community,” mentioned Katrin Herz, basic manager at the Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

“With our established and expanding presence in the sultanate, we remain committed to being a part of Oman’s development and look forward to setting new hospitality benchmarks across the country.”

Capturing Oman’s spirit of adventure and its adore of the outdoors, the hotel presents a refreshed Ritz Kids programme and a new outside Family Aqua Land. Ideal for households and multigenerational travel, young adventurers can now ride a zipline, splash by means of their personal committed pool, or slide from a big Omani standard boat, all surrounded by lush gardens, golden sands and sensational views of Al Hajar Mountains.
