It also launched 4 programmes for instruction 100 innovation specialists annually. The ceremony, held at the Tourism College, was graced by H E Dr Fuad bin Ja’afar bin Mohammed al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.
The minister mentioned that the programme itself is an revolutionary concept for the preparation of specialists in the field of industrial innovation, adding that the programmes reflect the capability of the Omani youth in numerous fields of innovation.
The centre and international partners from the UK instruction institutions and universities have certified trainees to the level of ‘Industrial Innovation Specialists’.
It also revealed the names of 5 winning projects in the instruction programme of 100 industrial innovators: iCool came very first Qutoof was placed second, whilst HT1 got third location, followed by Fishelizer, and Give and Gain.
The centre is 1 of the initiatives of the manufacturing sector, and the National Programme for Enhancing Economic Diversification, ‘Tanfeedh’.
