In the initial incident, 1 student was killed and 12 other individuals injured right after a college bus crashed into a truck in Adam at 7am.
In the second incident of the day, 15 female students of Nizwa College of Technology had been injured when the bus they had been travelling in met with an accident.
Nizwa Hospital announced on Twitter that it received 15 students injured in the crash.
Speaking about the college bus accident, a senior ROP official stated, “Eight of these injured which includes the bus driver are undergoing therapy at Nizwa Hospital. The situation of 1 student is vital. Five students and the bus driver had moderate injuries whilst 1 student suffered minor injuries.
“Another four students are undergoing treatment at Adam Health Centre.”
On March six, 3 kids had been killed and ten other individuals injured when a college bus they had been travelling in lost handle in Jebel Akhdar.
