A National Defence College delegation from Bangladesh, led by Maj Gen Abdullah al Baqi, visited the State Council on Wednesday, as element of its present official pay a visit to to Oman. As per a statement, the delegation was greeted on arrival by Hon Saif Ali Shaikhan al Amri and Hon Sheikh Nasser bin Saeed al Haddabi, at the council developing in Al Bustan.
Hon Amri wished the guests a pleasant remain in the sultanate, good results in their objectives and wished enhancement in the bonds of bilateral cooperation among the two friendly nations. He praised the current relations among the sultanate and Bangladesh, and noted the significance of such visits to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation among the nations in all fields.
He gave a short about the Shura march in the sultanate, pointing out the higher interest of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on the improvement of the institutional practice of Shura via systematic and studied progression and pointed out that the State Council contributes to the national perform by implementing its duties and working out its vested powers and competences.
Maj Gen Baqi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the honourable members of the council for the excellent reception, expressed happiness in going to the sultanate and praised the complete improvement of all fields.
