Sayyid Fahd, Qatari Deputy PM review regional issues

During the meeting, the Qatari Minister conveyed greetings of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said along with wishes of achievement to him and the Omani folks additional progress and prosperity.

Sayyid Fahd reviewed elements of current cooperation in between the two nations. The meeting reviewed the existing developments in the regional and international arenas.

The Qatari Minister expressed pride more than the go to, hailing the sultanate’s supportive stance for the GCC march. He stressed the significance of talks he carried out with the Oman’s Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs and officials in the Ministry of Defence.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al Busaidi, Oman’s Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs.

Sayyid Fahd receives GCC justice ministers

H H Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, also received GCC Justice Ministers who are attending the 29th meeting becoming hosted by Oman.

After Sayyid Fahd welcomed the guests, he expressed appreciation of the sultanate beneath the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said for the efforts exerted in judicial and legal affairs. He highlighted the significance of cooperation and sharing of knowledge in the judicial field.

Sayyid Fahd affirmed that the sultanate spares no work in supporting the judiciary as an independent authority cooperating with the state establishments to make sure justice to all.

They reviewed significant issues discussed by the ministers of justice such as procedures of litigation, execution of judgments, in addition to unified efforts for combating extremism, racism and cybercrimes.

The guests thanked the sultanate for hosting the meeting. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Minister of Justice.
